Group Genie is an open source think tank located in the United
States, and headquartered in Pittsburgh. We come up with new
ideas and methods to improve people's lives and the world.
We feel great urgency and compassion regarding humanity's
problems. We say, "Act as if your child's life was on the line,
and not someone else's – your Molly, your Jason, your
Kizito, your Prajhi, your Ling. Act as if you can see their
faces." – We try to do our level best.
The first meaning of the motto is that like magic genies, we’re sometimes able to produce powerful new ideas, methods and inventions – almost out of thin air! Because of this talent, we’ve decided to attempt one of the greatest creative challenges of human history: to produce the methods, incentives, obstacle-removers and overall plan to stabilize Earth’s life-support systems and reduce preventable suffering and death a hundredfold before 2100.
