Group Genie is divided into four parts: the Genies, the Guides, the Artisans, and the FARN.  Following is a description of what each part does, and how to join.

The Genies.  The genies are the inventors, the creators of new solutions.  If you are creative and inventive, good at solving problems, you may apply to become a genie. New genies are mentored by a more senior genie. Genies must learn about Mighty Plan.

The Guides.  Creative people are not always the most organized people.  The Guides help keep them focused on priorities.  Guides act either as like an advisory board or they act as project leaders.  The Guides are responsible for updating and executing Group Genie's strategic plan. Guides should have some experience at strategic planning or project management.  Call or email to volunteer your services.

The Artisans  (support staff).  The artisans volunteer or donate some of their services. Support staff may include researchers, program designers, graphic designers, writers, editors, videographers, spokepersons, translators, a fundraising team and a volunteer director. If you'd like to help, read about the current projects, and also read the volunteer page. Volunteer if you have any of the skills sought, but only if you are willing to treat your assignments as urgent. Call or email to volunteer your services.

The FARN.  This is the Fast Action Response Network.  This is a network of people who are contacted by  email.  FARN members agree to read the emails as soon as they are aware of them.  The emails contain requests to do brief, specific actions.  For instance, we may be updating a part of Mighty Plan, and they might ask people's reaction to the new wording.  Or they might produce a brief survey and want immediate feedback.  Or the email might be searching for a person with a certain skill.  FARN  members may choose not to do an action if they are too busy or are not interested.  But if they do act, it should be quick.  The mission of Group Genie is urgent, and so a fast response is essential. To join the FARN, read the PDF about what's involved and if interested email us at GroupGenie@yahoo.com. You can unsubscribe at any time.
